The location of the next America's Cup is expected to be decided by March, and it could be returning to San Francisco Bay, according to a San Francisco Business Times report.

Oracle Team USA CEO Russell Coutts said on Friday "the chances are good" that San Francisco will host the next America's Cup, which could come in 2017.

"Everyone agrees on our side that it’s a fantastic venue," Coutts said. "There are other political influences within the city that can change that. It remains to be seen how the next few months play out."

Larry Ellison's Oracle Team USA won the America's Cup in September 2013 with a miraculous comeback and seven consecutive races won.
