With fame and success comes attention, some of it unwanted.

Oakland-native and 2013 NBA Rookie of the Year Damian Lillard is finding out that he's not so anonymous anymore.

According to KGW Newschannel 8 in Portland, two brothers are accusing Lillard's entourage of beating them up just for taking a photo of the Portland Trail Blazers' point guard while walking in a parking lot in Portland's Old Town district at 2:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Brothers Jermaine and Phil Ulinwa told the TV station that Lillard did not take part in the fight, but he instigated the altercation while his entourage did the dirty work.

"So I took a picture. And so Damian Lillard was upset that I took his picture, so when he turned around he's like, 'Did you just take my picture?" Jermaine Ulinwa said. "And his entourage just turned around too and they're like 'did you just take a picture of Damian Lillard?"...and I said 'Yeah, I did.' And so I saw that he was clearly upset, they were upset and I was like, 'Can I apologize to him? I'll go up right now and apologize to him.'"

The brothers' plea for a civil end to the incident were ignored and soon, Lillard's entourage was punching and kicking Jermaine Ulinwa. Phil Ulinwa attempted to come to his brother's aid, only to get punched and kicked himself, leading to a broken nose and a cut lip, which required stitches.

Police confirmed that they are investigating the incident, but noted that "Lillard is not a suspect in this incident at all."
