RATTO: Is Posey due for Bow Tie Neukom's first splurge?
Last year Posey finished the season with a .305 batting average and 18 home runs and 67 RBIs in 108 games.
He made an immediate impact after being called up in May, going 6 for 9 with four RBIs in his first two games.
He put together a 21-game hitting streak that ended in July, one game shy of tying Hall of Famer Willie McCovey's San Francisco rookie record, set in 1959.
