Brett Anderson's third rehab start for Triple-A Sacramento got off to a good start when he struck out the Nashville Sounds' leadoff man.

The rest of the first inning didn't go so well.

Anderson surrendered a solo home run, two singles, a double, and a walk -- totaling three runs allowed in the inning.

In the second frame, Anderson retired the first two batters. He then issued a single and a walk before escaping unscathed.

The 24-year old southpaw settled down thereafter, retiring the side in order in both the third and fourth innings.
Anderson went back out to start the fifth, got a ground-ball out, and was then replaced.
He retired the final eight batters he faced.
Anderson's final line: 4.1 IP, 3 ER, 5 H, 2 BB, 3 K
