Lefty Tyler Skaggs was scheduled to face the A's on Tuesday in Anaheim.

Instead, the Angels announced that Skaggs has been scratched due to a right hamstring strain and will be placed on the 15-day disabled list.

Hector Santiago will be recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake to take his spot in the rotation.

Drew Pomeranz is slated to oppose Santiago on Tuesday.
