OAKLAND -- A's center fielder Coco Crisp left Sunday's game against St. Louis after three innings with back spasms.
Chris Young took over in center for the top of the fourth with the A's trailing 5-4. There was no immediate word on whether Crisp might miss any time. The switch-hitting leadoff man is hitting .274 with nine homers and 28 RBI.
The A's led 6-5 in the seventh inning in the series finale against the Cardinals.
