OAKLAND – Left-hander Tommy Milone will start Monday’s road-trip opener for the A’s against the Los Angeles Angels, a source confirmed, giving the rest of the rotation extra rest in the wake of Oakland clinching the American League West.

A.J. Griffin and Dan Straily, originally set to throw Monday and Tuesday, will be bumped back a day in Anaheim.

A’s manager Bob Melvin did not discuss his potential postseason rotation after Sunday’s 11-7 win over Minnesota.

Coco Crisp stole his 20th base Sunday, becoming the A’s first 20-homer, 20-steal man since Ruben Sierra in 1993. The A’s have had 13 “20-20” seasons spread among 10 players in franchise history.

Crisp stole second on the back end of a double steal in the sixth inning, with Eric Sogard taking third base.

“It’s an accomplishment I didn’t believe was feasible for myself,” Crisp said. “I piggy-backed on (Sogard).”

Crisp’s three-run home run in the second pushed his homer total to 22.
