Michael Taylor's days with the Oakland A's organization aren't over after all.

The outfielder cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday, as was infielder Hiroyuki Nakajima. The A's also voided the option of infielder Jake Elmore to Sacramento and placed him on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left quadriceps.

It was thought that Taylor's strong spring might have made him a trade candidate or a popular potential pickup on the waiver wire. As it turns out, he cleared waivers and remains in the A's organization.
