OAKLAND, Calif. – The Oakland A’s recalled catcher Stephen Vogt from Triple-A Sacramento, the club announced Tuesday.

Vogt was acquired from Tampa Bay on April 5 for a player to be named later or cash considerations.

The 28-year-old catcher was batting .325 with nine home runs and 43 RBI in 58 games with Triple-A Sacramento. 

Vogt made his Major League debut with Tampa Bay last year and went 0 for 25 with two walks in 18 games.
