Report: A's agree to terms with top pick Chapman

The A's have agreed to terms with first-round pick Matt Chapman, according to Jim Callis of MLB.com.

The deal is reportedly for $1.75 million, which is under the recommended $1.898 million slot value for the 25th pick in the draft.

The third baseman played three seasons at Cal State Fullerton and hit .312 with six home runs and 48 RBI this past season.
