The A's are in a definite rut, but despite a season-high five-game losing streak the Green and Gold are still the Vegas favorite to win the World Series.

The Giants on the other hand are a long shot, tied for ninth with the Kansas City Royals.

According to online sports book Bovada.com, the A's remain atop the list with 4/1 odds, just ahead of the Dodgers at 5/1.

The Giants who were sitting pretty at 7/1 on June 21 (good for second on the list) have since fallen to 20/1 as their season has taken a downward turn.
