Warriors forward Harrison Barnes will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before Tuesday night's A’s vs. Yankees game at the Coliseum, the A's announced Monday. 

Barnes, 21, was selected seventh overall in the 2012 NBA Draft and averaged 9.2 points and 4.1 rebounds per game in 81 regular season contests in his first season with the Warriors. He was named to the NBA’s All-Rookie First Team.

The ex-North Carolina Tar Heel lifted his game in the playoffs for Golden State in David Lee's absence,  averaging 16.1 points and 6.4 rebounds.
