Oakland Coliseum's aging pipes couldn't handle the 36,067 patrons that attended the A's-Mariners game on Sunday.

Following the A's 10-2 win, players attempting to shower in both clubhouses were greeted to raw sewage spewing from the drains.

Embattled A's owner Lew Wolff, who has been trying to relocate the team for a number of years, released a statement regarding the fiasco early Monday morning.

"The facility is in perhaps the worst shape in all of professional sports. I have apologized to the Mariners for this situation which is not within our control as we are a tenant in the Coliseum. I had hoped that we would be close to moving into a new venue by now, but that goal continues to be elusive."
