Dan Straily pitched 7 scoreless innings and Yoenis Cespedes homered for the 9th time this season as the A's beat the Rangers 1-0.
With Dan Straily on the mound, Coco Crisp and Derek Norris get the night off as the A's take on the Rangers in the second of a three-game series.
Daric Barton will remain in the A's organization after clearing waivers and will report to Triple-A Sacramento.
