Inge leaves game with apparent shoulder aggravation

OAKLAND -- Brandon Inge left the A's Saturday game with the Red Sox prior to the fourth inning after he looked to aggravate his right shoulder sprain in the top of the third inning making a throw to first base on a Pedro Ciriaco groundout. Inge was reinstated from the disabled list prior to the game Saturday. He says his right shoulder bothers him more when throwing, and that hitting doesn't cause him any discomfort.The A's got Cliff Pennington up in the bullpen during the top of the third, but still let Inge hit in the bottom half of the inning. He ripped a two-run double to right field. As the A's third baseman reached second base he busted out an abbreviated version of the Bernie dance. Inge scored the fourth run of the third inning when Derek Norris drove him home with a single. He was removed from the game after crossing home plate.On Friday, Inge told CSNCalifornia.com that he will have to play through the shoulder pain.
