SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 14, 2012)Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, the home of Authentic Bay Area Sports, will air special encore presentations of San Francisco Giants pitcher Matt Cains historic perfect game tonight (June 14) at 7:30 p.m. and on Thursday, June 21 at 7:30 p.m. On Wednesday night Cain pitched the first perfect game in the Giants 130-year franchise history and the 22nd in major league history against the Houston Astros.

Last nights GiantsAstros telecast registered a season-high 6.64 average household rating (approx. 166,420 households) in the San Francisco DMA (San FranciscoOaklandSan Jose) and scored an 11.22 peak rating during the 9:45 p.m. quarter-hour (approx. 281,000 households). The telecast was the 1 highest-rated program in the market for the entire length of the game in households and was the top-rated program in the key advertising demos of Men 18-49 (3.27) and Men 25-54 (3.28). Of the 54 Giants games televised on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area this season, the telecasts have been ranked 1 or 2 in households during the time period 51 times.
