SAN FRANCISCO -- With his eighth-inning single to right field Tuesday night, Melky Cabrera established a San Francisco-era record for most base hits in the month of May with 50.Willie Mays had held the mark with 49 hits in May of 1958.Up next, the single-month record of Randy Winn's 51 hits, accomplished in September of 2005.Cabrera went 3-for-4 in the Giants' 3-1 win against Arizona at AT&T Park.
