BOX SCORE

Sixers 105, Warriors 83Player of the game: Backup point guard Lou Williams scored 25 points to help get Philly back on track. The Sixers had entered Fridays game losers of six of their past seven games. Were not good enough to turn it on and off, Warriors coach Mark Jackson said. Thats not who we are. We have to be on all the time. We have to be aggressive, play with force -- especially on the road. Key stretch: The Sixers used the first six minutes of the third quarter to gain some separation from the Warriors. After a tightly contested first halfone in which Philly led 50-47 at intermissionthe Sixers began the third quarter on a 13-4 run to open up their biggest lead of the night at 63-51.We battled in the first half, down three at halftime and we were happy with that, Jackson said. I think at the start of the third quarter we didnt come out with force and they took control of the game and thats when they established their rhythm.

Udoh banged up: Warriors power forward Ekpe Udoh appeared to injure his right knee early in the fourth quarter. Udoh collided with a Philadelphias Thaddeus Young while going for a rebound.Udoh limped around the court for a little while before asking to come out of the game. Udoh went to the bench but did not go back to the locker room for treatment.Issues beyond arc: One of the staples for the Warriors this season has been their 3-point shooting. Its been one of the aspects of their game that has been reliable.Up until this road trip, that is.The Warriors shot 4-for-34 (11.7 percent) in their first two games on the trip and it didnt get much better in Game 3 at Philly. The Warriors missed eight of their first nine shots, but they were doing other things, and were down just 50-47 at halftime. For the first half, the Warriors were just 1-for-12 from 3-point range.Said Philadelphia coach Doug Collins: I thought we wore them down. Monta Ellis got off to a great start but as the game went on we kept on doing what we were doing. They made two late 3s, but other than that we defended the three well.Curry sits again: Warriors point guard Stephen Curry didnt play on Friday night because of a strained tendon in his right foot. It was the 11th game this season Curry has missed because of injury, but its more like the 12th.The reason: Curry played just three seconds against the Atlanta Hawks, as Jackson used him as decoy on a play designed for David Lee.
