Lee leads Warriors to win vs. Wolves to snap skid

The Timberwolves led just 26-21 after one period, but the Warriors scored just four points in the first nine-plus minutes of the second quarter.By the time the Warriors got their offense going, they were down 43-25 and the damage had been done.The Warriors would eventually get down by 20 points49-29before they chipped away and cut the deficit to 51-39 by halftime.Dreadful from beyond arc: The Timberwolves lent a helping hand to the Warriors by continuing to shoot from 3-point range. Despite having a size advantage on the interior with Love and Nikola Pekovic, the Timberwolves took 31 3-pointers, making just nine.Meanwhile, the Warriors were penetrating and scoring in the lane, something a little uncharacteristic for them.We realized they didnt have a shot-blocker in there, Jackson said. And we got into the painted area and we were aggressive.Thompson struggling: Warriors rookie shooting guard Klay Thompson is mired in a shooting slump and he didnt come out of it against Minnesota.Thompson went just 6-16 from the floor against the Timberwolves, including two misses in the final three minutes. Thompson is shooting just 40.9 percent over the past six games (36-for-88).
