ANAHEIM -- Oakland Athletics second baseman Scott Sizemore left Tuesday's game against the Angels in the fourth inning with sprained left knee. The injury occurred when he chased a pop up hit to right field. The ball fell between himself and right fielder Chris Young.
After the play, trainer Nick Paparesta and manager Bob Melvin ran onto the field to check on him.
Sizemore hobbled off the field and was limping in the dugout. The A's second baseman missed the 2012 season after tearing his left ACL in spring training.
