Blues goaltender Brian Elliott has an upper body injury that is not believed to be serious, several media outlets in St. Louis are reporting.

Elliott left Blues practice early on Tuesday. The Blues have recalled Jake Allen from their AHL affiliate in Peoria.

St. Louis Post Dispatch beat writer Jeremy Rutherford tweeted that Elliott has been nursing the injury for a week, according to head coach Ken Hitchcock.
