Dane Byers, the Blue Jackets forward that knocked the Sharks Andrew Desjardins from Saturdays game in Columbus with a blindside hit to the head, will have a hearing with the NHL on Monday afternoon.
Thats according to Blue Jackets general manager Scott Howson, who sent out the following tweet on Sunday.

The incident occurred at 3:01 of the second period. Byers was issued a match penalty for intent to injure, while Desjardins did not return to the game.
Desjardins status for the Sharks game in Chicago on Sunday was unclear. He said he felt fine immediately after the Sharks 2-1 win at Nationwide Arena.
The guess here is Byers gets suspended for at least two or three games.
