The Sharks announced on Wednesday that they have partnered with the San Francisco Bulls of the East Coast Hockey League for the 2012-13 season. The Worcester Sharks remain the teams top affiliate in the American Hockey League.

REWIND: No bull -- hockey returns to San Francisco

We are very excited to add the San Francisco Bulls as our ECHL development affiliate, said Sharks assistant general manager Wayne Thomas, in a press release issued by the club. Our organizations share the same passion to put a strong, competitive product on the ice, as well as being an active member in our shared Bay Area communities.

The Bulls will play at the Cow Palace, the original home of the Sharks, beginning this fall. They replace the Stockton Thunder as the team's ECHL affiliate.
