49ers inactives: Ginn gets first start

DETROIT -- Receiver Ted Ginn is slated to get his first start of the season Sunday against the Detroit Lions.Ginn will be elevated into the lineup Sunday while Braylon Edwards remains unable to play and Joshua Morgan is out for the season. Edwards is one of the 49ers' inactive players.The club expects Edwards to be able to play when the 49ers return after the bye week to face the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 30 at Candlestick Park. Edwards underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair torn cartilage in his right knee on Oct. 19. Morgan was placed on injured reserve last week after undergoing surgery on a broken lower leg, just above the ankle. Morgan is ineligible for the remainder of the season, including any possible postseason games.49ers inactives
