SAN FRANCISCO -- The 49ers' top two draft picks will finally be in uniform together.

Receiver A.J. Jenkins and running back LaMichael James, chosen in the first two rounds of the draft, are expected to make their NFL debuts on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins at Candlestick Park.

Starting receiver Mario Manningham is inactive for the game with a right shoulder injury. Manningham is the 49ers' second-leading receiver behind Michael Crabtree with 41 catches for 449 yards and one touchdown.

Veteran running back Brandon Jacobs was not among the 49ers' active players. Jacobs has been outspoken in recent days via social media against 49ers coaches, his playing time and the team's fans.

James was among the 49ers' seven inactive players for each of the team's first 12 games. Jenkins has been active for two games but has yet to play in a game.
