49ers sign both second-round picks

The 49ers on Thursday signed second-round draft picks Tank Carradine and tight end Vance McDonald to four-year contracts.

Carradine, a defensive end from Florida State, was chosen with the No. 40 overall pick. McDonald, a tight end from Rice, was the 55th overall selection.

The 49ers have signed eight of their 11 draft picks. The only draft picks who remain unsigned are LSU safety Eric Reid, a first-round selection, outside linebacker Corey Lemonier of Auburn (third round), and South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore (fourth round).
