The 49ers signed outside linebacker Corey Lemonier, a third-round pick, to a four-year contract, the NFL disclosed Monday on its daily transaction wire.

Saftey Eric Reid, the 49ers' first-round selection, is the only 49ers draft pick who remains unsigned.

Lemonier, who is making the transition from defensive end at Auburn, will compete for a spot in the 49ers' pass-rush rotation.

The 49ers traded their pick at No. 93 overall to Green Bay, as well as a seventh-round selection they picked up in an earlier trade with the Tennessee Titans at No. 216 overall, to select Lemonier (pronounced lemon-yay) with the No. 88 overall pick.

At Auburn, Lemonier started 26 of the 39 games in which he appeared as a weakside defensive end. He recorded 100 tackles (58 solos) with 17 quarterback sacks, two fumble recoveries, seven forced fumbles. He was a second-team All-SEC selection last season.

He figures to compete with veteran Parys Haralson for a job as a backup to Ahmad Brooks and Aldon Smith at outside linebacker. On nickel downs, Lemonier can rush the passer as a defensive end.
