PHOENIX -- Cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, who visited the 49ers on Wednesday, is scheduled to take a second free agent visit on Sunday.
Asomugha will meet with the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, a league source told CSNBayArea.com. The 49ers still remain in contention to sign the three-time Pro Bowl cornerback.

Asomugha played five seasons under new Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan while with the Raiders. Asomugha was chosen to the Pro Bowl in his final three seasons with the Raiders, the first two while Ryan was defensive coordinator.
He parlayed that success into a $60 million contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. But after Asomugha experienced two disappointing seasons, the Eagles released him. In all, Asomugha made $21 million in two seasons with the Eagles.
The 49ers are looking to add size at cornerback. Asomugha (6-foot-2, 210 pounds) thrived with the Raiders in press man coverage. He did not adjust well to the Eagles' defense, which employed primarily zone coverage. Asomugha turns 32 in July.
The 49ers return four of their top cornerbacks -- Carlos Rogers, Tarell Brown, Chris Cullver and Perrish Cox -- and the other, Tramaine Brock, has been tendered as a restricted free agent.
