The 49ers will have every player on their 53-man roster available for action Saturday night against the Green Bay Packers in an NFC divisional-round game at Candlestick Park.
Defensive tackle Justin Smith, who sustained a partially torn left triceps tendon Dec. 16 against the New England Patriots, has been given the go-ahead to return to action.
Smith went through limited practice all week, and even Smith does not know how effective he can be Saturday night. Ricky Jean Francois started two games in Smith's place, as he was not among the team's 46 active players in the final two regular-season games.
