Rams' Bradford, 49ers' Edwards inactive

SAN FRANCISCO -- St. Louis Rams backup quarterback A.J. Feeley, getting the start in place of injured Sam Bradford, stands in the way of the 49ers clinching the NFC West title Sunday at Candlestick Park.Meanwhile, the 49ers will be without receiver Braylon Edwards, who is nursing knee and shoulder ailments. Edwards, who missed four games earlier this season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, ranks sixth on the 49ers with 14 catches for 172 yards and no touchdowns.Edwards intimated last week that it might be wise to spend some on the sideline to help ensure he is healthy for the playoffs. Edwards has rested and rehabbed since the 49ers' 16-6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving.

Ted Ginn will start at receiver in place of Edwards. And Bruce Miller returns to his starting job at fullback after missing one game with a concussion. Veteran Moran Norris returns to the inactive list.
The 49ers (9-2) will clinch the division title for the first time since the 2002 season with a victory over the Rams (2-9) on Sunday.Feeley gets his third start of the season, as Bradford, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 draft, was declared inactive due to a high ankle sprain.Feeley has completed 54.7 percent of his passes for 392 yards with one touchdown and one interception this season. In Feeley's two starts, the Rams lost at Dallas (34-7) and beat New Orleans (31-21).Tom Brandstater was promoted from the Rams practice squad this week to serve as Feeley's backup.Craig Dahl will start at strong safety for the Rams in place of Darien Stewart.
