Wide receiver Joshua Morgan is reportedly close to agreeing to terms with the Washington Redskins within the first hour of free agency, according to multiple reports.Morgan was seen at the 49ers practice facility on Monday, the eve of the free agent signing period. He said he is completely recovered from a season-ending broken leg.Morgan grew up in Washington and attended Virginia Tech. ESPN first reported that the Redskins were on the verge of signing Morgan. The 49ers selected Morgan in the sixth round of the 2008 draft.The Redskins acquired the No. 2 overall pick in a blockbuster trade last week to select quarterback Robert Griffin of Baylor. The Redskins reached a contract agreement with former Indianapolis Colts receiver Pierre Garcon, who announced he his new team via Twitter. Garcon caught 70 passes for 947 yards and six touchdowns.Morgan's season was cut short when he sustained a broken lower leg in the closing minutes of the 49ers' Week 5 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Morgan caught 15 passes for 220 yards and one touchdown in five games.Coach Jim Harbaugh said in October that he wanted the 49ers to re-sign Morgan."Yes, we've told him that," Harbaugh said. "And we'll make that a priority."The 49ers on Monday signed veteran receiver Randy Moss to a one-year contract. Agent Joel Segal represents both Moss and Morgan.
