Q: Any 49ers people like John McVay from whom you'll seek advice?
York: "There are a lot of people that I have respect for who have been here and done that in the past. I'm not going to get into any of the names of folks I'm going to talk to."
Q: Is Baalke in Florida to meet with Parcells, too?
York: "I don't know who Trent is talking to to get prepared for his interview. I think he's at one of the games, scouting bowl games."Q: Will you interview Baalke?

York: "I still want to sit down with him and do a formal interview with him."Q: There is a lot of speculation, from myself included, that Trent is the leader in the clubhouse? Is that accurate?
York: "I don't know that there is a front-runner. He has done a great job, and he'll be evaluated like everybody else."MAIOCCO: Is Trent Baalke the leading GM candidate?
Q: There is also a lot of speculation that Trent and Jim Harbaugh are connected?
York: "There is going to be a lot of speculation about a lot of different things in the next week or two."Q: Do you plan to have the GM search go past Sunday?
York: "It's going to go on until we find the right person."Q: Do you have any interviews today?
York: "I have some things coming up by phone later today."Q: Whom else do you plan to interview?
York: "You've hit on most of the names. I want to be respectful to folks who do or do not want to get their names out there who are interviewing. I'm sure if the folks want to be identified, they'll find a way to reach out."Q: Is everything going the way you envisioned?
York: "Yes. It's been a very good process and it's been good to talk to people and hear some of their thoughts and ideas about how to get the 49ers right."
