OAKLAND Point guard Stephen Curry is going to try to give it a go tonight when the Warriors take on the Indiana Pacers at Oracle Arena.

"Hopefully I can go," Curry said when asked at Friday shootaround if he would play. "I still have a couple more hurdles to clear before I do that."

Curry hasnt played since Jan. 4, when he sprained his right ankle during the second half of a game against the Spurs in San Antonio. It was the third time this season Curry tweaked the ankle.

Last Saturday, Curry expressed a desire to return to the Warriors for a Jan. 17, game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but that idea was shelved after the ankle didnt respond in the day leading up to the game as Curry had hoped.

Curry has sprained the right ankle seven times in the past 16 months. In 2010-11, Curry missed eight games with a sprained ankle, including a six-game stretch in December.
