Warriors point guard Stephen Curry participated in parts ofthe teams practice on Friday and remains day-to-day heading into Saturdaysgame against the Phladelphia 76ers at Oracle. But Curry sure sounded like he was going to give it ago.Curry did non-contact drills early in practice but did notparticipate in any of the teams full-court scrimmaging. Its still sore but hopefully another 24 hours and Ill beable to go (Saturday) and be ready, Curry said. Curry sprained his right ankle for the second time thisseason in the fourth quarter of Mondays game against the Chicago Bulls when hecame down on the foot of Kyle Korver. He missed Wednesdays game against NewYork. The first sprain occurred on Dec. 20, during the teamssecondand last exhibition -- game of the season at Sacramento.Obviously, I want to play, Curry said. It was tough tosit out last game. And obviously sitting out last game was in preparation forSaturday and having four extra days to get ready. Well see what happenstomorrow. I want to play and if Im ready Ill play.Curry tweaked the same ankle several times during the2010-11 season, then had surgery to strengthen it in May. Its likely that if Curry plays he will be without shootingguard Monta Ellis alongside of him. Ellis will be in Mississippi on Saturday, attending a funeral for his grandmother, Mary Cole.
