Monta to play in Durant's game

Warriors shooting guard Monta Ellis is committed for the WeBelieve charity game on Nov. 5, at the San Jose State University Event Center.Ellis, along with more than a dozen other current and former Warriors will beparticipating in a game to benefit the Athletes vs. Cancer foundation.According to a report in the Houston Chronicle, Ellis willalso play in Sunday nights US Fleet Tracking Basketball Invitational hosted byKevin Durant.

Durants team will include LeBron James, Russell Westbrook,Ellis, LaMarcus Aldridge, Jeff Green, Michael Beasley and Jamal Crawford. Theother team will feature Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Amare Stoudemire, JamesHarden, Rudy Gay, John Wall, Jonny Flynn and Damien Wilkens.More and more charity games and exhibition type games arespringing up as the NBA lockout approaches four months.Expected along with Ellis in the We Believe charity gameare Stephen Curry, David Lee, Jason Richardson, Gilbert Arenas and Matt Barnesamong others.
