Warriors workouts: John Henson

OAKLAND -- North Carolina power forward John Henson worked out for Warriors coaches and executives on Thursday morning in advance of the June 28 NBA draft.Henson, 6-foot-11 and 220 pounds, is a long and athletic player who excels in the shot-blocking department. Temples Michael Eric, Florida States Bernard James, Kentuckys Marquis Teague and Clemsons Andre Young were also part of the workout.Henson and Sullinger figure to be two players the Warriors will consider selecting with the No. 7 pick. Henson was a two-time ACC player of the year, and was a first-team All-ACC player as a junior. He played three years for the Tar Heels. Henson acknowledged after his workout that he needs to get stronger as he enters the NBA.Henson also said that he is not quite 100 percent right now, having tweaked his knee at the Chicago combine.
