Defensive end Ray McDonald is not expected to be available for the 49ers on Sunday against the Washington Redskins due to a left hamstring strain that kept him out of practice all week.
McDonald was listed as "doubtful" on the 49ers' official injury report. Ricky Jean Francois is expected to make his second start of the season. Jean Francois started the 49ers' Week 5 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at nose tackle in place of Isaac Sopoaga.Fullback Moran Norris, who is listed No. 2 on the 49ers' depth chart behind rookie Bruce Miller, is questionable as he recovers from a fractured fibula he sustained Sept. 18.Each of the other 49ers on the injury report is expected to be available to play Sunday, including receivers Michael Crabtree (foot) and Braylon Edwards (knee), and defensive backs Dashon Goldson (knee) and Chris Culliver (shoulder).The Redskins have their own share of injury issues. Receiver Santana Moss (hand) will not play. Safety O.J. Atogwe (toe, knee), tackle Trent Williams (ankle) and tight end Fred Davis (ankle) are questionable.
