The 49ers coaching staff is playing the percentages this week, coach Jim Harbaugh said Wednesday morning on 95.7 The Game.That's the organization's approach, as the 49ers know they have three possible opponents for their NFC divisional round playoff game Saturday, Jan. 14. But the most likely scenario is a matchup against the No. 3 seeded New Orleans Saints.
If the Saints defeat the Detroit Lions on Saturday, the Saints will travel to Candlestick Park to face the 49ers, who earned a first-round playoff bye. If the Lions win, the 49ers will face the Atlanta-New York Giants winner.

The teams squared off Nov. 13 at Candlestick Park in a game the 49ers won 27-20.The 49ers players were off on Monday and Tuesday. They are scheduled for meetings on Wednesday, with practices planned for Thursday and Friday. The main focus for the players, Harbaugh said, is to get fresh and healthy.Tight end Delanie Walker is not likely to be available after sustaining a fractured jaw Dec. 24 against the Seattle Seahawks. Walker's jaw is wired shut and he's on a liquid diet.Ted Ginn (ankle) and Kyle Williams (concussion), both of whom sat out the regular-season finale, are expected to be cleared for the 49ers' first playoff game.
