SANTA CLARA -- Sgt. Skywalker was the most popular man in the 49ers locker room Sunday after their 19-11 victory over the Washington Redskins."Is 'Sky' your first name?" he was asked."No," he answered. "Skywalker is my last name.""What's your first name?""Dontae," answered the Chicago native. The Third Relief Commander at Arlington National Cemetery's Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was a guest of the 49ers on the sideline against the Redskins. And he'll also be a guest of the team during the Thanksgiving night game against the Baltimore Ravens.

And this week, the Skywalker name found its way into the 49ers playbook.Sgt. Skywalker spoke to the 49ers' players, coaches and traveling party for about 10 minutes on Saturday. He delivered a talk on the history of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers, the duties of the honor guards and answered many questions.
"When he was done, (receivers coach) Johnnie Morton and I looked at each other and go, 'We need a Skywalker,' and it's got to be good," 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said. "It's got to be a good one, a good play."So the coaches put together a pass play for Sunday's game against the New York Giants called, "Skywalker." And what was the reaction when that play was shared with the offense?"They knew," Harbaugh said. "(It) got a chuckle from the fellas."For those who want to see the 49ers feature more downfield passes, rest assured that there is at least one new play in the 49ers playbook this week. And with a name like "Skywalker," don't expect a measly little 5-yard button hook.
