SANTA CLARA -- Receiver Ted Ginn did not participate in any of the 49ers practices this week because of a right knee injury, and he appears doubtful for the NFC Championship Game.Officially, the 49ers listed Ginn as "questionable," along with five other players on the team's injury report. But Ginn is the only 49ers player who was unable to practice during the week.If Ginn is unable to play, second-year player Kyle Williams would start at receiver, alongside Michael Crabtree. Williams would also handle punt-return duties, with Kendall Hunter returning kickoffs.
Tight end Delanie Walker is expected to return to action on Sunday, just four weeks after sustaining a fractured jaw against the Seattle Seahawks on Christmas Eve. Walker went through limited practice throughout the week.
Linebacker Patrick Willis, safety Dashon Goldson, cornerback Tarell Brown and center Jonathan Goodwin were limited in practice on Friday but are expected to be available for Sunday's game.The biggest question mark for the Giants is tight end Jake Ballard, who is listed as questionable with a knee injury.49ERS INJURY REPORT
