Injury report: Snyder questionable for Sunday vs. Rams

SANTA CLARA -- Fullback Bruce Miller is expected to be available Sunday against the St. Louis Rams after missing the 49ers' Thursday game against the Baltimore Ravens with a concussion.Miller sustained a concussion Nov. 20 against the Arizona Cardinals. He told CSN Bay Area's Mindi Bach that he would not have missed the game if the 49ers had played on a Sunday, rather than a Thursday. When asked Monday if Miller has been cleared to play, 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh answered, "He's been in a progression, yes."Right guard Adam Snyder is more of a question mark, though. Snyder played just 18 snaps against the Ravens and did not see any action in the second half due to a left hamstring strain. When asked about Snyder's health, Harbaugh declined to comment."Teams would love to know that information, and you can't expect us to hand it out," Harbaugh said.On Monday, 49ers receiver Braylon Edwards said he has been limited in practice with a shoulder injury. Yet, the 49ers have not made mention of any Edwards shoulder ailment on their injury reports this season. Edwards missed four games earlier this season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery to repair torn meniscus cartilage in his right knee.
There appears to be a strong possibility Chilo Rachal will play in place of Snyder, as the 49ers want to ensure there are no lingering injuries as the 49ers head into the final stretch of the regular season. Harbaugh said the coaching staff has faith in Rachal and would not consider moving backup tackle Alex Boone to guard.
