SANTA CLARA -- Linebacker Patrick Willis is expected to be available for the 49ers' season finale Sunday, if the team decides to play him.Willis went through limited practice Wednesday, as the 49ers began preparations to face the St. Louis Rams.Willis has not played since the opening minutes of the 49ers' Dec. 4 game against the Rams. Willis has been inactive for the past three games with a right hamstring strain.Receivers Ted Ginn (ankle) and Kyle Williams (concussion), and tight end Delanie Walker (jaw) did not practice. Ginn and Walker are on the mend, while Walker might be out for the season.
Coach Jim Harbaugh said he'll know in the next week whether Walker will have any chance to return for the playoffs. Walker is believed to have sustained a fractured jaw.Ginn was injured on a third-quarter kickoff return Dec. 19 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He did not suit up for the 49ers' game Saturday against the Seattle Seahawks.Williams has yet to receive full medical clearance to return to football activity after sustaining a concussion Saturday against the Seahawks.The Rams are likely to be without the services of quarterback Sam Bradford, whose ankle injury has kept him out of action three of the past four games.
