Safety Dashon Goldson will not be suspended for fighting Sunday with Arizona Cardinals receiver Early Doucet, an NFL spokesman told CSNBayArea.com on Tuesday.

Goldson was penalized 15 yards and ejected for throwing punches at Doucet, who appeared to instigate the incident when he took a swipe at Goldson while he was on the ground. The players got tangled early in the fourth quarter on a play on which Aldon Smith sacked Cardinals quarterback Richard Bartel.
Goldson apologized to his teammates, coaches and team ownership in the locker room following the 49ers' 23-7 victory over the Cardinals.
Goldson will not have to sit out any further action, so he will be available to play Thursday night against the Baltimore Ravens. Goldson, however, is likely to be slapped with a fine from the league office.
