Snyder agrees to deal with Cardinals

Offensive lineman Adam Snyder, who started 69 games in seven seasons at four different positions with the 49ers, is now with an NFC West rival.

Snyder agreed to a contract with the Arizona Cardinals, the club announced Wednesday. Snyder visited the Cardinals on the same day former Cardinals No. 2 overall pick Leonard Davis, an 11-year veteran, visited the 49ers.Daniel Kilgore, whom the 49ers traded up last year to select in the fifth round, is likely to get an opportunity to win the 49ers' starting job at right guard.Snyder, 30, was a third-round draft pick of the 49ers in 2005. He played extensively at at every position on the offensive line. He started 15 games, including the playoffs, at right guard last season.Snyder was also the team's backup center. He played six snaps at center in the 49ers' NFC divisional playoff game against the New Orleans Saints when Jonathan Goodwin left the game for a series with a calf injury.
