After a quick start in training camp, he was expected to play cornerback like aBlu-Ray. Instead, he more closely resembled a VHS on Monday. It wasn't thatcornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke was beaten soundly every time a ball came his wayagainst Dallas. It's just that when he was beaten, it stood out. And it was so different fromhow solid he looked in camp, when he was working with the first-team defense inplace of the then-injured Ron Bartell. Van Dyke has a chance to atone for hisshowing, and depending upon how long the Cardinals' first-team offense stays onthe field, Van Dyke has a chance to do it against the same guy that issued himhis baptism by fire in last year's preseason opener -- Larry Fitzgerald. Talkabout an opportunity.
