NAPA -- The legal cases of receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey, who pleaded no contest to a DUI charge on the Bay Bridge this offseason, and middle linebacker Rolando McClain, who was convicted on counts of third-degree assault, menacing, discharging a handgun in city limits and reckless endangerment, may be settled in courts of law, but their immediate playing future in the NFL is still fuzzy.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the two are still "under review." Reading into that, suspensions handed down by commissioner Roger Goodell could potentially still be coming for the two Raiders players, even as McClain's case is under appeal in Alabama.Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie, meanwhile, said in June that McClain was essentially given a clean slate by the team.
