ALAMEDA -- Raiders placekicker Sebastian Janikowski's appearance this week on the team's Injury Report raised more then a few eyebrows, especially when the injured appendage was his record-setting left foot. How it was injured, the Raiders are not saying. But the Raiders' all-time leading scorer who tied the NFL record for longest field goal with his 63-yarder in Denver on opening night was listed as "Probable" to play in Sunday's home opener against the New York Jets after practicing "Full" on Friday. So was it disconcerting that Janikowski was listed on the injury report this week?"No, he's ready," said Raiders coach Hue Jackson. "I think he's fine. You've got to put everybody on there regardless of what they have."They should have put me on that medical report. I've got a whole bunch of injuries going on right now, but he's fine. I think he's ready to go."Of course, it's a Doomsday scenario, but punter Shane Lechler is the backup kicker, as well as the team's third-string quarterback."Shane's everything, no doubt," Jackson said with a laugh. "He can do it all. That's Shane Lechler."Then who would Lechler's holder be on kicks? Think current second-string quarterback."(Kyle) Boller," Jackson said. "I've got that one."
