Free agent linebacker Philip Wheeler, who spent the first four years of his NFL career with Indianapolis, has popped up on Oakland's radar."On my way to Oakland to see the Raiders," Wheeler Tweeted Thursday morning. "Which team would be a better fit for me this season? This is a tuff career choice."The 6-feet-2, 240-pound Wheeler, a third-round draft choice of the Colts (No. 93 overall) out of Georgia Tech in 2008, has started 24 of the 61 career games in which he's played, including 11 of 13 last season at SAM linebacker, when he had 84 tackles and a sack and forced a fumble.
The Raiders are in the market for a strong-side linebacker having parted ways with Kamerion Wimbley.
