McFadden ‘moving around fine' says Allen

ALAMEDA -- Darren McFadden re-aggravated his sprained right ankle in the Raiders' 26-13 loss to Denver Thursday night, his first game since suffering the high ankle sprain on Nov. 4.

And with his injury history -- he has never played more than 13 games in a season and missed the final nine games last year with a Lisfranc sprain to the right foot -- you cannot blame fans for thinking they've seen the last of McFadden in 2012.

But coach Dennis Allen said McFadden "was moving around fine" on Friday.

"I didn't feel like it was going to be any issue," Allen added.

"Darren, today, seemed like he was going to be O.K. He was walking around fine, didn't have a lot of pain so, I don't think it's an injury that's going to keep him out any time."

McFadden rushed for 52 yards on 11 carries, though 36 yards came on one run down the right sideline. He also had a six-yard TD catch.

Also, cornerback Michael Huff had X-rays taken of his injured right wrist and Allen said they came back negative, though he was awaiting the results of an MRI.

"I don't think it's a major issue but we'll kind of have to wait and see," Allen said.

Huff was targeted early and often by Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and Huff was eventually replaced by Phillip Adams, who made a diving interception of Manning in the end zone.
