The Raiders on Thursday announced the signing of three players -- running back Jon Hoese, nose tackle Johnny Jones and receiver Isaiah Williams -- to reserve/future contracts after tryouts.
Hoese, a 6-foot-2, 247-pounder, and Jones, who is 6-4, 317 pounds, both have familiarity with Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie as both players were in Green Bay with McKenzie.
An undrafted free agent out of Minnesota in 2011, Hoese was on the Packers' practice squad that year and was in camp with them in 2012.
Jones, meanwhile, originally signed with Miami as an undrafted free agent out of Marshall in 2011 before spending most of the season on the Packers' practice squad. Jones was placed on Green's Bay's injured reserve list this past preseason.
The 6-2, 204-pound Williams has spent time with Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Seattle and Arizona since signing with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2009 out of Maryland, where he was teammates with Raiders receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey.
On Wednesday, the Raiders signed six of their practice squad players to reserve/future contracts in guard Jason Foster, linebacker Jerrell Haris, defensive back Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, receiver Travionte Session, tight end Mickey Shuler and offensive tackle Jason Lowey.
